IBM provided the necessary technology and skilled personnel so the Nazis could keep it all straight.
In 1937, IBM’s Thomas Watson gave Hitler the Hitler salute in Berlin and received the Order of the German Eagle from the Nazi government and bargained hard with the Germans to make sure he maintained control over company throughout the war.
