Oatmeal has long been praised as a healthy whole grain. But not all oatmeal is created equal.
Cereal makers like to process, fortify, and add to oatmeal as they do other foods. Many of us grew up with sugary instant oatmeal and don’t even know what the whole grain is like.
This is an amateur video, and it shows. However, it’s also the best comparison I’ve found between the different types of oatmeal you can buy.
We’ll say it again: the less you process a food, the better it is for your body.
