1. Until the last 100 years, human beings never ate anywhere near as much animal products at they eat they eat today.
2. Animal food, when eaten, was rare and, when eaten, consumed in small amounts.
3. The explosion of systemic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes track perfectly with the explosion in animal product consumption and as developing countries change their diet to mimic “developed” countries, their death and disability rate from these diseases rises accordingly.
4. The animal products industries are heavily subsidized by the US government and have 100+ years worth of experience bribing Congressmen; distorting science; manipulating the news media, academia, and medicine; and subverting public health agencies.
5. The animal products industry with its factory farms destroys rural communities, ruins fresh water supplies, creates some of the most unsafe working conditions on the planet, promotes the senseless abuse of animals, and produces a product that at best is unhealthy and at worst is routinely contaminated.
The so-called Paleo Diet, the Atkins Diet, the Weston Price Foundation and countless other highly promoted fad/scam diets can’t answer one simple question: Can their diets reverse heart disease, diabetes (or other diseases)? The answer, of course, it they cannot and in fact, make these diseases worse and help create them while a plant based diet is know not only to help prevent these diseases, but even reverse them.
