What’s really in Vitamin Water?
The label emphasizes “vitamin” and “water,” but it turns out the beverage is more like “sugar water” than vitamin-infused water. In essence, it can be best described as “sugar water.” The sugar content is likely much higher than you’d expect, and the label is cleverly designed to suggest multiple servings in one bottle, allowing them to reduce the stated calorie count.
Even Coca-Cola’s own attorneys publicly acknowledge that Vitamin Water is not a healthy beverage.
