Raw honey is honey that has not been heated, pasteurized, or processed in any way.

It has been called “nature’s own multivitamin.”

It contains vitamins such as B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and even antioxidant-rich vitamin C. It also is rich in minerals: magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium chlorine, sulfur, and phosphate.

Raw honey has antibacterial and antifungal properties that have made it an effective traditional treatment for wounds: it helps prevent infection and stimulates wound repair.

Because of its immune-boosting antiviral properties, raw honey has been used in the treatment of ulcers, diarrhea, bronchitis, and gastrointestinal issues.
