Drinking lemon water, a great thing to do first thing in the morning.

Why?

After a night of sleep, you’re a little dehydrated, so drinking water first thing is a very good habit. Also, in addition to all the other things the lemon does for you, it provides you with your daily dose of Vitamin C (the real stuff, noT the crap they sell in stores).

IMPORTANT: Rinse your mouth after drinking lemon water. Over time, the acid can be tough on the enamel. You can also use a straw to minimize the acid off your teeth.

I don’t work for the Lemon Growers Association, but I can’t help but sing the praises of this “simple” fruit.

There are no magic bullets, but of all the easy things you can do for your health, this is one of the most powerful.

During the 17th and 18th centuries, wealthy aristocrats in Germany and other northern countries built special greenhouses at great expense so they could have ready access to lemons all year ’round.

After drinking lemon water, rinse your mouth or, even better, brush your teeth. The juice is a little hard on tooth enamel.
